Affiliate disclosure

Fixit Express may join retailer affiliate programs, including programs from home centers and Amazon. If you buy through a link we mark as sponsored, we may earn a commission. You don't pay extra for that.

Version 1 does not have live affiliate URLs. Tools and materials show a slot that says “TODO: affiliate link.” Those are not links. When a real URL is added, the link will use rel="sponsored".

How-to articles and videos are editorial. They are chosen because the page is a useful guide from a known publisher, not because that publisher paid for the placement.

The DIY-or-hire verdict is not for sale. A product mention does not change the call to hire a pro.

Read the disclaimer for what the cost estimates are and are not.
